Brief History Of The School Winfosa Education centre (formerly known as winners education centre) From The Proprietor’s Desk

Winfosa Education centre was established precisely on January 14 2002.It took off in a rented uncompleted building located at Omegue Street, Off Technical Road, Benin City. It’s population at take-off point was just one male child Festus Asakagbon.
The staff strength of the school was also one the proprietor himself -Engr. Osazuwa Obakpolor-who single handedly performed the managerial, teaching, cleaning, and messengarial duties including security. Indeed, it was a one-man squad.

Today, what began in so little form, crystallized into a gigantic and magnificent three-storey building which has become a cynosure of all eyes in the state.

The institution has successfully enrolled over eighteen sets of students for both National and international Examinations. (WAEC& NECO). Also the school has the full accreditation from the ministry of Education.

Be informed that over 1,500 students have graduated from this noble institution.

Over the years, over 200 members of staff have worked in the system. It presently parades a total staff strength of 30 full time and part staff on ground. The institution has participated and excelled in both local and national competitions.

Also the school has published several magazines.

*Reasons for the magazine*

Reasons for the publishing of magazines globally cannot be overemphasized. It is not as most people would tend to think of financial enhancement of those who embark on such projects.
Magazines globally serve distinctive purposes as below:

•Provide wealth of information
•Inspiration
•Create ideas for readers.

It is basically for the aforementioned reasons that Winfosa Education Centre deemed it fit and appropriate to publish the magazine which of course is it’s maiden edition.
